There are many new projects created because tokenization, they are basically convert their company asset into token and the investors who invest on their project will receive the token which is represent of their share on the project company.

  • Security - All token transactions are recorded in blockchain, the authenticity is 100%
  • Transparency - Everyone can verify the recorded token transaction in blockchain

The benefits of tokenization will bring more new projects to enter cryptocurrency world. We can see many ICOs were created because tokenization. But unfortunately there were many scam projects in the past, stole investor's money and ran away.

Because of that, investors move from ICO/ITO to IEO, what the hell is IEO ?



IEO

IEO is Initial Exchange Offering, basically it is same with ICO/ITO but it run on Cryptocurrency Exchange. The new created project is affiliating with cryptocurrency exchange and holding the token sale there. Why IEO ? Because IEO have more advantages than ICO/ITO.

IEO Advantages
  • The token sale is promoted on the exchange, so the users of the exchange are potential investors
  • Investors will be guaranteed by the exchange that the project is not a scam project
  • Investors don't need to do a ridiculous amount of research to the project, the exchange already done
  • The token will be certainly listed on the exchange
  • Participating in token sale is easy as trading, just buy it like trade buy
  • The distribution usually will be handled by exchange and will be directly sent to user's exchange wallet

Now that IEO is become very popular in cryptocurrency project, there are many exchanges start to opening their service to list new project token sale, it called Launchpad, or Tokenpad.


What is Launchpad / Tokenpad ? Launchpad is basically a token launch platform that provided by exchange. It is a token sale platform in the exchange. When new project want to hold IEO on exchange, they will listed on the launchpad so the users of the exchange know about their token sale.
